Dr. Nicholas Depace M.D., F.A.C.C.
Dr. DePace is a lifetime resident of New Jersey. He was born in Newark, NJ and attended Setion Hall University as an undergraduate. He graduated the prestigious Mount Sinai School of Medicine in 1978 receiving his MD degree. Doctor Depace came to Philadelphia in 1979 and did his internal medicine residency at Hahnemann University. He was chief medical resident in 1981 and completed his cardiovascular training at the Likoff Cardiovascular Institute in 1983. Dr. Depace has obtained 5 board certifications. He is married with one child, Nicholas Jr., who attends the University of Pennsylvania. Doctor DePace is a prolific publisher and clinical researcher early in his career. He has published leading articles on aortic and mitral valve disease. He has also published extensively in noninvasive cardiology, specifically echocardiology and nuclear cardiology. His national book, The Heart Repair Manual, The Philadelphia FormulaFor Prevention and Reversal of Heart Disease by W.W. Norton, NY, NY has been widely distributed. Doctor DePace obtained the rank of full clinical professor at the Medical College of Pennsylvania at the age of 33, the youngest full professor at that time in Philadelphia. He currently does faculty teaching at Hahnemann University.
Dr. David Elbaum D.O., F.A.C.C., F.A.C.O.I.
Dr. David Elbaum has been practicing cardiology in the Delaware Valley since 1981. In 1993 he left the cardiac catheterization lab to concentrate on non invasive and clinical cardiology. After joining Dr. DePace on a full time basis Dr. Elbaum assumed responsibility for the hospital portion of the Practice. Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Cardiology, Dr. Elbaum was elected a Fellow of both the American College of Cardiology and the American College of Osteopathic Internists. In 1994 he was designated an Authorized User of controlled radioactive materials by the Nuclear Regulatory Commission. Dr. Elbaum has published original research in peer reviewed journals such as the American Journal of Cardiology.
